廖昆玉—— 一个三百多年前的客家人，他诙谐风趣、博闻强志、聪敏过人、赋性刚正、不畏强权、打抱不平的形象深入民心，被世人所歌颂。
而廖昆玉客家餐饮是一家大型连锁餐饮，三百多年前的廖昆玉这个人物形象被运用到了这家餐厅，用现代化的表现手法呈现在食客面前！
在这个大型连锁餐饮里这已经是第三家店，我们延续着它的既有的形象，在原有的基础上进行局部提升：木格栅为客家传统灰瓦屋顶元素演变而来，被做为最强的客家特征而保留；中国红的运用比例进行了加大，青石板、碎石、廖昆玉的诙谐风趣形象被更好的植入到了这个空间。
草帽是在耕种时必备的工具，在这既是装饰也是对客家文化的解读，所以在前面外摆区进行了大量的运用，我们尝试留住最原始的文化味道。
我们通过情境模拟，用茶水台的方式让顾客感受古时的中国特有文化，另一方面也是想通过这情境让顾客留步喝一杯擂茶更能体现客家的好客之道。
木格栅寓意客家传统建筑形式，因空间的天然优势，得以更好的呈现完美的围屋场景，“来来来，来我们围屋先吃饱再赶路”！墙面大面积的运用插画描述诙谐风趣、博闻强志等廖昆玉个人形象特征，当中不乏用现代手法进行处理，对当代打工阶层的常见问题进行调侃与自嘲。希望与现代的打工阶层能产生共鸣，廖昆玉在三百多年前同样是一位普通的劳作人民，所遇问题与现代版的问题有极大的共同点，所以被作为了我们空间的主线索。
再者，特色的餐牌，诙谐的文案，精心策划的VI与空间形成一体，做为再一道菜呈现在顾客的面前！
